Scuba Search: S.S. RAVALLI

Divers descend into the waters of Lowe Inlet in Alaska's Inside Passage to search for the wreck of the Pacific Steamship Company's S.S. RAVALLI, which burned and sank in 1918. Many divers would regard diving on a virgin wreck as the epitome of underwater adventure. But for one diver, it was a link in his family's history that embraced five generations of sea captains. The Captain's grandson joins the dive to search for a link to his past that included 5 generations of sea captains. After 60 years, he now seeks to discover the remains of his grandfather's ship. Originally aired under the KOMO title “RAVALLI”.
